Bio:

Erin was born in Ft Lauderdale, Florida and raised in Baxley, a small
town in rural South Georgia. A true country girl; she could usually be found in a tree, a corn
field, or fishing in her Papa’s pond. From early on, it was apparent that Erin was musically inclined.
She took piano lessons for many years and participated in show choir throughout junior high and high school, as well as the competition choir and trio.
She placed in several solo competitions and made the all state choir two years in a row. In addition to her involvement with the music program, Erin served as a peer counselor at her
high school and was elected as a Hugh O’Bryan Youth Scholar.

After high school, Erin attended Georgia Southern University on a partial, vocal
performance scholarship and the HOPE scholarship. Unfortunately, her college career was
cut short by a near fatal car accident. She suffered many injuries including a broken back,
compound fracture of the left tibia, and broken right radius and ulna. She spent over a
month in the hospital, six weeks in a wheel chair, and another six weeks on crutches.
The prognosis for her full recovery was not good; however, she had a strong desire to prove
the doctors wrong. After a year of recovery – and putting on 50 lbs – she decided to get in shape.

Throughout the grueling process of losing the excess weight, Erin fell in love with fitness
and set the goal of one day competing in a figure competition. A few years later she
became a personal trainer and moved to Denver, where she felt there was more opportunity
for growth. After running her own in-home personal training business, Trinity Fitness, for a
few years, she found herself dissatisfied with the scope of her practice. As a result, she
decided to finish her undergrad and pursue a career as a physician’s assistant. Erin is
currently finishing the prerequisites for the PA program. She is also the former fitness
columnist for Shine magazine, and was the leader of a fitness life group at her church. For
many years, Erin performed in several working bands. The Positions, She Alice, and Eve
were all classic rock bands in which she was either the lead singer, or singer and keyboard
player. She was also a member of the acoustic duo, Martha Lane.

This year, Erin finally achieved her goal of competing.
In fact, she loved the experience so much; she decided that winning a pro card would be
her next challenge. Erin placed second in both the novice and open classes at her first show,
the Northern Colorado Championships. And she placed second in the open class at her
second show, the Rocky Mountain Championships, which earned her the right to compete
nationally.
Currently she is working as a personal trainer at 24hr fitness, competing, and
working as a fitness model. Erin has huge goals for 2012 including earning her pro card,
finishing her undergraduate degree, getting accepted into the PA program of her choice,
and growing her personal training and modeling business. Keep and eye on this one!
She’s on fire!!
